These are my favorite adventure quotes to inspire you to explore the unknown. Boost your adrenaline with these motivational musings from famous risk-takers.

Are you hunched over the couch, covered in cookie crumbs, battling friends in Fortnite, and daydreaming about the endless REAL adventures around the world just waiting to be experienced?

Unique travel adventures like:

  • Watching the sunset from the top of a mountain.
  • Snorkeling with sea turtles.
  • Jumping out of an airplane.
  • Trekking through the rainforest.
  • Swimming under a tropical waterfall.
  • Exploring one of the 7 wonders of the world.
  • Camping under the milky-way!

Sometimes we just need a little extra travel inspiration to get us moving in that direction, and that’s where these quotes about adventure can help.

After exploring the world for the past 9 years, I constantly receive messages from people who dream about injecting more adventure into their lives, but are unsure where to begin.

The truth is, it’s not about WHERE you begin, it’s simply taking that first step to kick-off a chain reaction. Even if that step is scary.

One small step turns into one giant leap… and all that jazz (thanks Neil!).

So here are my favorite adventure quotes to help you jump off that dirty, depressing couch this year and plan an incredible journey for 2019!

    I like this one.

  2. I love that one about adventures bringing you closer together even as they take you far from home. My husband and I just love to travel together!

    • Great choice. Getting lost on purpose is always a fun way to spend an afternoon somewhere new. The perfect adventure quote!

  4. THis is a very cool list. Every monday I try to motivate my followers with some travel quotes and I will definitely use some from here.

  5. I love all the quotes. I travel the world to experience life from someone else’s perspective. I take photos to share those experiences with others. The smiles and good will I have shared in S.E. Asia, Botswana, So. Africa, Costa Rica, Egypt and Jordan just this year make me hungry for more contact with a world bigger than my small community at home.

  6. I love these quotes. They’re good to write on post-its and stick them on your desk, on the fridge, in a journal or wherever you can see them often to remind you how great adventures are.

  7. “I love the places that make you realize how small you and your problems are” this is my fav quote. And thanks for providing other beautiful quotes too.
