Volcano Boarding Crash [VIDEO]

Travel Video of Volcano Boarding

trouble with the video?

Flying down the side of a Volcano at 30 mph on a piece of wood is a bit crazy. But that’s just what I did outside of Leon, Nicaragua. Volcano boarding down Cerro Negro is sure to give you a giant dose of adrenaline. It’s quite a rush. Just don’t crash like I did…

Dude nice video, seriously! Really dug the music and like the aftermath shot at the end! lol Do you use 1 Handycam or two and do you have people help you shot or do you just set up and walk back to get the shots?

I used my Canon 7D, a GoPro HD Hero, and my buddy’s FLIP video. I set up some of the shots on a Gorilla Pod with my 7D, the GoPro was attached to my head, and to the sled itself. Had my friend film a few parts on his FLIP. Made this run 4 different times to get all the footage. :)

Thx Gabe. It wasn’t easy… 3 days of work, sweat, and blood (literally) to make it. :)

I’m thinking that a HELMET might have been a good investment for this adventure!! YIKES! That is the closest that I ever want to get to surfing down a volcano! Stay safe!

Ohhhhh fancy fluorescent jumpsuit. Seriously this is such a well produced travel video. It looks so professional. How did you do the intro/opening credits and what software do you use to edit the video?
