Once the most exclusive club in Panama City, The Union Club was turned into a private officer’s club for the Panamanian Defense Forces under the control of General Manuel Noriega. The General renamed it “Club de Clases y Tropas” and hosted exclusive VIP parties along the waterfront. In 1989 the United States invaded Panama and bombed the building. The ruins were used as a filming location for the 2008 James Bond movie: Quantum of Solace.

A coat of paint and that could be a time share. Anyone who went to college for Business Finance should be able to make a bundle. I wonder who went to school for that? It also could be an exclusive night club. Panama Red would be a good name. I could wear a silk shirt and mingle – undercover work at it’s best.
Actually there are plans to demolish and turn it into a hotel. They’ll first need to remove the family that’s living under the ruins though…
