This is a 300ft (100m) tall canopy suspension bridge located in the Monteverde Cloud Forest preserve in Costa Rica. We were lucky to have the whole forest pretty much to ourselves, which is rare because it’s so popular. The moving clouds and ancient trees make you feel like you’re walking through a fantasy land… this bouncy red bridge in the tree-tops certainly helps with that impression.

It was spooky walking through the cloud-filled forest, especially because we had seen big-cat tracks in the mud!

I really like the way you’ve framed this shot – the bridge in the corner at a wide angle tapering off into the distance. Also, your gravatar is really cool!

      Thx Samuel!

I hired a guy to draw the avatar. I’m digging yours too.

Wow. What an awesome, yet TERRIFYING image. You could not pay me to walk across that bridge. I have absolutely no idea how you were able to build up the courage and cross it. :)
