This is one of at least 20 sharks I swam with on a SCUBA dive off the coast of Fiji’s Beqa Island last week. Grey Reef Sharks like this one grow to 6 feet long, and can be very aggressive. But attacks on humans, like with most sharks, are rare. There are only 13 recorded shark attacks from this particular species worldwide. We witnessed 5 different types of shark on our cageless dive with Beqa Adventure Divers, including a massive 12-foot Bull Shark. Full article to come!
