Faces of Honduras: Alan

People of Honduras Alan

Meet Alan

First Name: Alan
Where Are You From: Utila, Bay Islands, Honduras
Occupation: SCUBA Diving Instructor
Favorite Music: Reggae
Where Would You Like to Travel: “England. I’ve been there before, but it’s still my favorite place to travel!”

I’d like to introduce you to Alan, my PADI SCUBA instructor at Parrots Dive Shop in Utila, Honduras.

I visited many dive shops on Utila before I made a decision on which company to use, and the main reason I picked Parrots Dive Shop was because of Alan himself. He was full of energy, and obviously loved his job very much. Don’t let his youth fool you, has over 750 dives under his belt.

While Alan is a very professional instructor, he’s also just a cool guy! He’s a popular DJ on the island too, and would come out with us at night for dinner and drinking while showing us all the hot spots in town.

I could have guessed the favorite kind of music – no wonder why you got along so well with the whole DJ thing in common. Definitely looks like he knows how to have a good time.

I think you made a wise choice. As soon as the picture came up I said to myself this guy is either a surfer or a diver. I would feel confident in his hands in either discipline.
