Southernmost Point of the United States in Key West

This is the southern most point of the continental United States, located in Key West, Florida. It seems to be a pretty big deal for the people on this island, because they label everything “Southernmost”. Like the the Southernmost Hotel, Southernmost Bank, Southernmost Home, Southernmost Cafe, etc. During the day there is a huge line of people waiting to take a photo with this mound of concrete.
